Why do people visit the Machupicchu museum

Machu Picchu Museum

People visit the Machupicchu Museum because of its great botanical garden with Incan steps adjacent to the building. The museum's collection is small but very informative and complimentary to what you will see in the Machupicchu Citadel. It is a great first stop for some context and history before visiting the archaeological site, especially because there are no exhibits at the main Machupicchu Citadel.
